Trained as an industrial designer at the University of Applied Sciences in Munich and the École cantonale d'art de Lausanne (ECAL), he gained valuable experience by collaborating with various start-ups and working at Steelcase Inc. on user-centered industrial design projects. Stefan's diploma project is currently on display in the Vitra Design Museum's touring exhibition ‘Transform! Designing the Future of Energy’ and recently won the Swiss James Dyson Award 2024.
Alongside his studies, he started creating stage and lighting designs for various artists and executed shows internationally. This led him to a long-term engagement at Studio Clemens Loeffelholz, where he collaborated with renowned contemporary German-speaking artists.
Stefan is now working and collaborating across several fields, ranging from industrial design, and lighting design to scenography. Since 2023, he has also been a lecturer in the Industrial Design program at Munich University of Applied Sciences.
