CROSSER · 2023
Drawing inspiration from classic road bike geometries, the objective was to modernize and adapt them into a sleek and contemporary cyclocross frame. The primary focus was to create a stable and agile design that not only considers the forces at play but also showcases them visually. This bicycle is specifically crafted for cross-country expeditions and brief bikepacking journeys. The frame is meticulously hand brazed and double powder coated to achieve an eye-catching shimmering effect. Made in Switzerland with the support of Bedovelo.

HYDROGEN COOKER · 2022
According to the WHO, the use of fossil fuels in the home, including cooking, and the resulting indoor air pollution causes 3.8 million deaths yearly, mostly in developing countries.
"HydrogenCooker" is a green hydrogen-powered cooking station developed in collaboration with EPFL's Renewable Energy Research Laboratory and Softpower, a startup from Cameroon. The developed stove is an alternative to current open fire or natural gas cookers while using locally solar-generated hydrogen and only emitting water vapor during the cooking process. As a result, cooking becomes less harmful and more sustainable.
Local production of the appliance and deviant cooking habits discovered on a research trip to Cameroon determined the design.

FLOW · 2022
Flow is a drinking fountain for public indoor spaces that highlights the flowing water’s sensation. Developed for the Swiss sanitary company Laufen, it explores new possibilities in areas outside their core business - the bathroom. A waterfall near the company’s headquarters was the initial central inspiration.
The entire body of the fountain is framed by a thin rim that keeps the water in place and showcases Laufen’s SaphirKeramik signature material. The design’s elegance and sophisticated sculptural approach underline the company’s premium aspirations. Prototyping was carried out by CNC milling styrofoam to test the flow behaviors.

SPRING · 2022
Spring is a running shoe sole concept. This exploration project for Swiss company ON Running aims to envision the possibilities of emerging 3D weaving technology for future running shoe soles in 2040. Usage of fewer resources and the ability to combine materials and afterward separate them again was crucial in this project.
Shoes could be made entirely by a single machine without requiring much human labor. This would reduce costs and monotonous jobs in the industry. In addition, production could be brought back to Europe. The working prototype visually shows the cushioning performance of the different zones while reducing the shoe’s weight for the runners.

COMPACTCAR · 2021
CompactCar is a car interior concept that uses Santoni's 3D knitting technology as a vision for the future automotive sector.
Designed as a non-sided, autonomous car, it fits into the current traffic system. It can be used as a public taxi for transport and as an on-demand space for work. As the use of the vehicle shifts towards public transport, the interior reflects this logic as it is designed for cleanability, maintenance, and durability. Furthermore, it is intended as a platform that can be used in different cities, with local branding and advertising opportunities through 3D knit technology. The vehicle is controlled via an app and offers tables, hooks, and electricity to each user.

LCD SALON · 2019
The LCD Salon took place at Tempelhof Airport in Berlin to bring together key industry representatives from politics, tourism, and culture.
The interior contrasted the site's past with new, progressive design to underline Berlin's creative pioneering role. Guests were to feel comfortable during the event and invited to engage in dialogue.
As the event only took place on one day, the interior was built from temporary structures that could subsequently be used for other purposes. Key elements that zoned the space were three room dividers and a bar which all contrasted industrial with organic materials.

ONE EARTH TOUR · 2019
The approach of Maurice Ernst, singer of the band Bilderbuch, was to create a set design for their live tour that takes credit for the new, more naive, outgoing, and hippyish style of their recent album. We identified chaos and dadaism as a theme. In steady exchange, we created a set design with an optimistic but questioning worldview. Every object had its own meaning or stood as a symbol for a whole subject. In 2020, the set was on display for seven months as part of Bilderbuch's Approximation exhibition at the Museumsquartier Wien.

SPACETIME · 2017
SpaceTime is a blurred clock. It has only one hour hand and therefore conveys a vague feeling of time. The timepiece encourages the viewer to slow down and decelerate. The spatial structure of the clock is influenced and changed by time - every moment is different. A microgravity system arises inside the object - the silicone pins resist gravity but cannot resist the attraction of the rotating magnetic hour hand. It was nominated for the Design Award Halle 2017.

TÊTE-À-TÊTE · 2016
Têtê-à-Têtê is a chair that can only be used together and therefore connects people. It provokes intense eye contact and physical closeness. You have to trust the other to sit relaxed. The intimate moments and time spent together associated with the chair are intended to increase the perceived value of the object. The original idea arose from a broad-based study on the emotional value of products.

TRANSITION · 2016
Transition is a ring that plays with separation and connection. A gap in the ring is highlighted by two bars marking the ring segment's ends. While blending smoothly into each other, the length of the bars is chosen to be in a golden ratio to let them correlate. The ring is made using lost-wax casting.

X-LIGHT · 2015
X Light is a dimmable LED lamp system for pop-up exhibitions that can be set up in seconds. A base and a light bar form the two main components of the lamp.
The light bar can be plugged into the base. It then acts as an extension reel, including a dimmer and multi-plug. Therefore it can pass power from one lamp to another.
